Way to Wellness was born out of the quest to make health and wellness more accessible, affordable, and sustainable. In my own journey, it was challenging to stay committed to my health goals and manage all the scheduling and re-scheduling of the nutritionist, personal trainer, yoga sessions, etc. It became clear that having the essential services and support available at one place at a reasonable cost would be the best way to stay on track. Imagine, one place where you can have access to the classes, trainings, and workshops designed to meet the needs of each individual. Hence, the creation of Way to Wellness and our tagline
One Purpose ~ One Place.
It's apparent from the photo that health and wellness is extremely important in my personal life. Professionally, I've been devoted to helping others improve their physical and mental wellbeing for decades. My training encompasses traditional approaches as well complementary and alternative methods to improve overall health. I believe that an integrated approach to wellness provides the best possible outcomes.
Hello! My name is Aidan DeWitt, and I am a 200hr Certified Yoga teacher with a B.S. in Studies and Performance of Movement. I am a trained dancer, singer, and actor who left my professional performance career to pursue my deepest passion: helping the world heal. Through yoga, music, and dance, I specialize in quelling the ego/shadow and developing subtle awareness so more presence can shine through our daily lives. I am also an experienced dance teacher in several styles, from Jazz to Tap to Bollywood, and love incorporating various kinds of movement into my yoga sequences. Beyond teaching, my other passions include hiking, reading, Nintendo, and coffee! I am so excited to share some methods for healing with Way to Wellness. I will see you on the mat… or the dance floor! Namaste.
“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do”-Rumi. For over 27 years I lived and breathed the service industry. It was my first love and passion, then in 2011 a bigger love came into my life,my children. If I wanted to be able to raise my children the way I wanted, I needed to find a new passion. I had to ask myself, what else do I really love in life? Yoga and helping others was it. With the good fortune of studying under Jason Crandall, Leslie Kaminoff, Jenn Wooten, Richard Miller and several others I became a RYT 500 specializing in Vinyasa flow, IREST Practitioner and massage therapist. Currently I teach trauma informed yoga in Austin and Florida Keys shelters as well as with children in foster care. I am grateful to be part of the Way to Wellness team and I look forward to sharing my passion with you soon!
Namaste~
