Way to Wellness was born out of the quest to make health and wellness more accessible and affordable. In my own journey to wellness, it was challenging to keep up with all the scheduling, or re-scheduling - my nutritionist, personal trainer, yoga session, etc. . . . you get the picture! It became clear that having all the essential services available at one location would not only make life easier, but it would increase the odds of reaching my goals. All it would take is one contact to one place to schedule sessions or make changes that fit my schedule - problem solved! It's apparent from the photo that health and wellness is extremely important in my personal life. Professionally, as a clinician I've been devoted to helping others improve their physical and mental wellbeing. My training encompasses traditional approaches as well complementary and alternative methods to improve overall health. I believe that an integrated approach to wellness provides the best possible outcomes.

“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do”-Rumi. For over 27 years I lived and breathed the service industry. It was my first love and passion, then in 2011 a bigger love came into my life,my children. If I wanted to be able to raise my children the way I wanted, I needed to find a new passion. I had to ask myself, what else do I really love in life? Yoga and helping others was it. With the good fortune of studying under Jason Crandall, Leslie Kaminoff, Jenn Wooten, Richard Miller and several others I became a RYT 500 specializing in Vinyasa flow, IREST Practitioner and massage therapist. Currently I teach trauma informed yoga in Austin and Florida Keys shelters as well as with children in foster care. I am grateful to be part of the Way to Wellness team and I look forward to sharing my passion with you soon!
